"I'm Neil Reilly the one fortunate enough to be the Executive Chef here at NuVue. I just wanted to take a minute and share a little bit about myself. I was born in Akron, Ohio.
I started my culinary journey when I was about 10 years old. Watching my mother create amazing meals for every occasion. Then as I got older I started working for family in a commercial kitchen.
These experiences led me to enroll in a Culinary Arts college in Pittsburgh. After completing the program I ventured south to the Washington D.C. and Southern Maryland areas to continue perfecting my trade.
I was fortunate to learn under some amazing Chefs and cooks. Everything from large scale catering to working with the local watermen that brought the freshest seafood possible to our piers.
But, after over a decade in the south it was time to come back to my Akron roots. To share what I have learned. Plus help guide future Chefs and cooks along their culinary path.
